Troy's Quilt
This is the quilt mom made for my son Troy. Now she only has 11 more grandkids to go. Troy loves plaid so that is why she made this. It turned out to be very warm.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Turtle Quilt
Mom and I have been working on the baby quilt for about a week now. It was a lot of hard work. But it was worth every bit of it.
Well Barb no we don't have your tops. But we do have a box that came in for you. Itchy fingers to open it. When you get settled we will send it to you.
Now I have to get back to the quilt in the frame that is almost done. It is calling my name and says it wants out. So now I have to go to the grind.

Hi All
Thank you for welcoming me to the blog. This is not the post I wanted to do this morning but i could not find the picture of the quilt I was going to post.
Yes I did get a new machine and I am still working out the kinks. When my sister Barbara was in we played with it for awhile. I really wanted her to try it out but she would not. So she helped me to figure it out. We had problems (boy o boy problems). My thread wanted to bunch up and I broke a needle. But all in all we did figure it out a little.
So look tomorrow or later today and I will show you our new quilt that we have done. We got the fabric from inch worm fabrics. Go over and check out her fabric, she has some really nice fabric.

NEW OWNER OF QUILTER'S CORNER
Beverly has decided to take over the Quilter's Corner. It will no longer be a family site since most of us have our own blogs.
As for the nieces, I am sure your mothers and even myself would be happy to post on our blogs for you....I know I would, it would thrill me to show your work.
So...I am now handing over the keys to this blog to another wonderful sister....and taking myself out of this blog and everyone else.
Beverly, we look forward to enjoying your post...
I hear tell that you have a new embroidery machine....we would all love to see a picture and tell us what it can do.
Good luck!!

Thanksgiving
I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving.
On another note Granny had some company. Yes Jeanette(Inch Worm Fabrics) these are your grand babies. We enjoyed having them at Granny's house. Aren't they just so cute. It has been about 28 years since I have seen Sam(that is Janette's oldest son). We all had a real nice visit. Just had to rub it in and I know you had your other little ones at home but I had these.

Show your stash
Well here is our Mother(Faye) and mine stash. We put our stash in her house because when my husband is not home that is where I am at. I sew up there. We decided instead of me bring my material to her house we would combined our material together. So we have more colors to chose from. We don't know where hers begin and mine end. The only thing I take home to do most of the time(unless it is something I am really into) is my quilt to quilt.
I have my quilting frame in my living room and quilt while I watch TV. Our mother has hers in her living room. We both at times have 2 quilts going. Sometimes I take my little frame and quilt at her house.
Don't forget tomorrow is the last day of the 4 sisters and a mom giveaway. Good luck to you all.
I am very proud of my mom and my sisters they are wonderful.

FAMILY ROUND ROBIN OF 2008
Was it 2008 or 2007?
Least way, I didn't know if some of you follow my other blog so I thought I would put this on the family blog since it is family.
I will confess it was a challenge to get the squares to match, and I had to make two more squares but after all the thinking and fussing, I am pretty pleased with how it turned out....actually thrilled.
