TO BE FAIR

I have posted several items given to me by family but to be fair, Margaret crocheted me this beautiful table cloth. The hours that went into it was amazing and the workmanship was out of this world. I will cherish it forever but do not have a picture of it and do not have it with me. I wanted to bring it but knowing about the mold problem, I did not want to bring it with me. One day I will post a picture of it. It is amazing but things that were brought for me are just not quite as valuable as those things that have been made for me. Of course, we are not talking about the diamonds and jewels my husband lavishes on me (ha!!!)......still laughing.

I did not take a very good picture of this but it is a beautiful wall hanging made by Jeanette or one of her daughters. I love this as well... In Texas this hung in my laundry room, it matched the walls so perfectly. Occasionally I would just walk by and touch it and look at all the fine details. I have it here in Samoa, I think it came here by accident (things I wanted to preserve were left in Texas Storage). I have it hanging from my Bakers rack.

This bag was made by Toni when she was living at my home during Katrina. She made her one and me one. I simply lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve it. I use it all the time here in Samoa and everyone ask me if I made it....I smile and say "Nope, my niece Toni did." It is very special to me and I often look at the craftmanship and just smile at what a wonderful job she did.

Margaret's block

Well I finished my block. Now I need to mark my grid and I can send it off. Actually I need to go buy Annie and Benjamin something first. I can't send a package without sending them something too.
Now this is a classic example of not picking the right colors. But in a way it helped me since none of the seams wanted to match up.

Bev's RR square

I took the liberty of taking a photo of Beverly's RR square. It's very nice. I'm trying to come up with what to do...hum...

Does anyone know how to rotate the picture?

Quilt Tops

I've been meaning to get these out there but never found the time. These are a few tops that I've put together recently. The 1st one is for Benjamin and the last one is for Annie. The red one is for Jessie - he's like mama -LOVES red. And the blue one is for me. Sorry the pictures aren't that good, I didn't have space to hang them right now. This should make Barbara happy - an entry that's not hers.

HOW TO ADD A PERFECT BORDER.

Remember to double click to read this article.
I remember years ago talking to Jeanette on the phone and I asked her how to make a border that doesn't wave. She told me how to do it over the phone. So if there is a new quilter out there maybe this article will come in handy and save you alot of stress and time trying to achieve the perfect border.
