NEW OWNER OF QUILTER'S CORNER

Beverly has decided to take over the Quilter's Corner. It will no longer be a family site since most of us have our own blogs.

As for the nieces, I am sure your mothers and even myself would be happy to post on our blogs for you....I know I would, it would thrill me to show your work.

So...I am now handing over the keys to this blog to another wonderful sister....and taking myself out of this blog and everyone else.

Beverly, we look forward to enjoying your post...

I hear tell that you have a new embroidery machine....we would all love to see a picture and tell us what it can do.

Good luck!!

Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving.

On another note Granny had some company. Yes Jeanette(Inch Worm Fabrics) these are your grand babies. We enjoyed having them at Granny's house. Aren't they just so cute. It has been about 28 years since I have seen Sam(that is Janette's oldest son). We all had a real nice visit. Just had to rub it in and I know you had your other little ones at home but I had these.

Well you have seen this quilt before. Mom pieced it some time back for her grandson Travis. Now she has finally finished it. She has 11 grandkids left to quilt for. She is getting there everyone just has to wait their turn. And plus her son's quilt to finish. So as she finishes I will post them.

I have put the back and front of the quilt so that you can also enjoy looking at the back.

I hope that everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and if you are traveling please be safe.

Show your stash

Well here is our Mother(Faye) and mine stash. We put our stash in her house because when my husband is not home that is where I am at. I sew up there. We decided instead of me bring my material to her house we would combined our material together. So we have more colors to chose from. We don't know where hers begin and mine end. The only thing I take home to do most of the time(unless it is something I am really into) is my quilt to quilt.

I have my quilting frame in my living room and quilt while I watch TV. Our mother has hers in her living room. We both at times have 2 quilts going. Sometimes I take my little frame and quilt at her house.

Don't forget tomorrow is the last day of the 4 sisters and a mom giveaway. Good luck to you all.

I am very proud of my mom and my sisters they are wonderful.

Treasure Hunt

Don't you just love treasure hunts. Well that is how I started out this morning. Looking for my camera( which you put it up so you can find). Found it in the last place I looked my purse. Than oh boy where is my cord for my camera. Found it on a shelf in dinning room. now for my post. This quilt I saw in a magazine and decided to do it for my son in the marines. I had been thinking of doing something close to this. I just love pinwheels.
