My sister from The Average Quilter had just gotten her machine and needed some quilts to practice on so mom decided to let her so this one. She did a beautiful job doing this quilt.
If you have any quilt tops that need to be done she now quilts for the public. So go on by and see her blog she has what she charges on there and she does a very good job.

Quilt Show

Well my sister Margaret came down to mom's for the weekend. So happens Mom and I found out that there was a quilt so in Texarkana, TX.

So we went to the quilt show. My daughter Anya went with us. They had door prize and my sister and I won. So this is what we got for the door prize. Isn't it sweet. But my sister gave her to our mother. But piggy me kept mine.

They had some really nice quilts at the show. And I was thinking. My work looks almost(or better then some). So I might get me a quilt together and put into the next one. So we will see. Have a good day and keep on quilting.

Today is about Matt. He is our brother's first born. Mom has finished his quilt and here it is. He is in the Navy. Has been for over 10 years now. He has a wife and 4 kids and one on the way. I hope that he enjoys his quilt(which all the grand kids love it when their granny makes them something).

Tomorrow I will let you all know what we did this weekend. Have to have something for tomorrow to post. So see you then.

Somoan and Baby Quilt

Well Jeanette here you go. The pink baby quilt we got the material from Inch worm fabrics. It turned out real sweet.

The wild print is made from Somoan fabric the my sister Barbara got when she was over there. You can also get the Jelly Roll from Inch Worm Fabrics. This quilt was not in my comfort zone for all the colors, but it turn out really sweet. I am taking a lesson from sister Barbara and trying to go out of my comfort zone. Thinking about quilting this on my machine.
