In my spare time at mom's, I made a little sailboat wallhanging from a kit mom picked up. I thought I would post it while I was posting the block I made for Toni's RR.

I don't know why this little square gave me such fits??? But it did!!! I am just glad it is done. The seam ripper was my best friend the whole time. I would sew the wrong pieces on over and over again....sheweeeeeeee but it is done....done...done.

Toni added two of these squares, one without the bird....isn't the bird cute? If you look real close in the multicolored fabric there are humming birds.


This is my (Barbara's) square, I have done two of these. Didn't have the green fabric or I would have used that instead of the yellow.


We are coming along. I will send this out this week.

The fusible is in....and so begins the rest of the Chicken quilt. I have two more chickens left.

I don't know what is wrong with me tonight. It was only 6:00 p.m when I was putting the blanket stitch around this chicken...maybe it was the hum of the sewing machine but I could barely keep my eyes open. I know that the hum of the car makes me sleepy....sheweeeeee...I guess I won't be sewing anymore tonight.
