HERE IS THE FINISHED ITEM!

S

Vance was so worried that this quilt would not be finished for the wedding this Friday.....here it is! One more done. I wanted more of a navy binding but I just went with what I had, some left over material from the quilt top....not too bad? This quilt is stippled....my Janome is giving me grief, I think it is on its way out. What will I do if I can't stipple? Go to Toni's?

FINALLY PUT THE BINDING ON MY ROUND ROBINS

Well....today I spent most of my time sewing....stippling to be exact. I am finishing that one Walmart quilt you will see below for a wedding this Friday. So, while I was making the binding for that quilt, I just went ahead and put together 3 more bindings for 3 other quilts, 2 were the round robin and one is still on the frame, I am almost finished hand quilting it and it will soon be ready to post on the blog as well as the Wedding quilt. So...I think I am down to about 26 projects to go...that is better than 34 projects. Also, I really liked Beverly's idea of showing the backing as well as the top of the quilt, so I copied her and showed the backings to these quilts as well, espeically since the tops are show in previous segments.

GARAGE SALE FIND

This is a quilt I found at a garage sale, I paid a little more for this than I would have a newer quilt, I am guessing that this quilt was made in the 30's or 40's. I am sure my mother could date it. I miss garage saleing, that is how I got most of my fabrics. I need to quilt it, any suggestions?

KEVIN'S MISSIONARY QUIILT

This was probably my third quilt ever to make. I made it for Christmas one year for Kevin while he was on his mission. Flying Geese

PAPER PIECED

I did this one in Texas, it was paper pieced and like I said, I don't think I like paper piecing. It needs a nice border and then to be quilted...maybe one day? I am not much on purple either but at the time, that was all the material I had.
