I paid a little gal to draw the octopus and then it sat around the house for a few months with ideas floating in my head and then one Saturday I just went to work. It was alot of fun and I think it will take maybe one day to complete. It only took about an hour and a half to do the blanket stitch around the octopus...not bad. This was alot of fun. Now I am making little cloth bags for the instructions to go in to. I tried to order the plastic bags on line but because where I live, it either wouldn't let me or charged me an arm and a leg (even when I was having it shipped to Kevin's)...oh well...these cloth bags are cute and who knows...may be my calling card? I am also including a life size octopus so there will be no is hand drawn but that is okay. I put mine on poster board to make it easier to draw around.
