I finally got around to making this basket. I love it....right now it is holding my scissors. I used interfacing to make it more firm and besides, that is all the resources I have from this island. I would say that it worked pretty good.

CHAROLETTE'S FUSIBLE WEBBING

This is the neatest things since sliced bread. Go to Mother Superior's Blog, she demonstrates the use of this thread that fuses your material to each other. It is thread...so amazing. I am going to order some. It will eliminate the bulk from the fusing and less fuss. Go check it out!!

I HAVE JUST ONE QUESTION.............

WHERE IS THE ROUND ROBIN?????? Is it bottle necked somewhere? I have only had Toni's......can all of you email me or leave a comment as to what all you have done on this round robin, so I know where we are at?

I went looking for some scissors, I had to pat around all the material on the side of the machine to find them. I thought to myself, how can a person sew like this? I am a pig....

CUB SCOUT

This is a trial one....all the pieces are fused together (it is material)....using my fusing that gums, still waiting on my good fusible. Anyways, I am going to fuse this to a placemat...I am making the placemat...haven't figure out how I am going to do that (any suggestions, or measurements?...being lazy here...would love answers). Right now I am just cutting all the pieces out of my fusible before I put it on the material. I had all the boys color this picture using their favorite colors...and that is going to be their car...and I am going to put their names on the placemat. I spent all afternoon doing this one car and tracing after tracing each piece...I still have the two wheels to do....not bad. This is for the Blue and Gold Banquet, which we have the pinewood derby as well. This will be in March but I knew I would need a long time to finsh all of these...so won't be doing much quilting...well..maybe I will squeeze in a few projects. I am doing 20 of them...anyone want to help?

CUB SCOUTS

This is what I had planned for the Scouts yesterday. I spent all afternoon putting interfacing on all these to make them stiff. I had made a whole batch wrong...so I had to redo them...sheweeeee Get to scouts and one of the boys fathers showed up all ready to teach them how to do knots...so there went this. He is coming next week toooo...so what to do with all of these? Maybe just go ahead and make them and give them out next week? There are 15 of these and I tried to make them manly....with the black...notice the bear claws...goes along with the books....Beverly (my sister gave me this fabric a long time ago).

FINISHED THE OTHER VALENTINE TABLE TOPPER OR WALL HANGING??

I have already given the other one away. Don't know what to do with this one??
