How did I miss this? It's supposed to update you on my blog roll when you have a new post. These look great and how fun to do matching twin ones! I'll be leaving a couple of more hints as to the quilt top and then I'll probably show the unquilted top. It takes me about six months to get things back from the quilters and I don't want to wait that long to show it. I did tell her that I'd like it within five weeks but we'll see. I have an occasion I want it for. I think you'll agree when you see the finished top that redoing this part made it look tons better! So come back and see me later when I post the next hint okay?!

Thanks so much for your comment about my son's mission. Actually, I just smile when people say this bz they truly think they're funny but it gets so old so fast and he is serving a mission, not vacationing. I guess it just all hit a head yesterday with me. He's been so sick for the whole six months he's been out but he's still out there tracting and doing the Lord's work. They're trying to get approval to take his tonsils out right now. I don't know if the physician's have documented enough times about his tonsils. Every time he goes to the doctor they tell him that they look ugly though and put him on another antibiotic. Oh well, I have to keep putting my faith in the Lord on this. There's so much more to being a missionary's mom than I ever dreamed there was. How long has your son been out? Is he your first missionary? This is my first missionary even though he has an older brother and sister. I have a younger daughter who's 17 too.

P.S. Did you see my flying geese hint that was posted right before the centipede attack post? I hate flying geese!

Thanks for stopping by! The flying geese were on the bias and boy were they crazy to match up! I'm glad you stopped by to see the finished quilt. I won't have it for this July 4th but it will be quilted and done by next year to enjoy!
