Our cousin from South Louisiana had these Wool Red Cross Blankets. They wanted us to cover them so they would not be so scratchy.

| This is what we did to them. We took two pieces of fabric and covered them. We tied them instead of quilting them. Too thick to quilt. Almost too thick to tied. Than Mom put binding on them. |

| This is the other one. I think they turned out pretty good. |

They turned out wonderfully.....lots of work but so warm and worth it.!!
